Say hello to some of the talented people we’ve been lucky enough to work with!
Martin Levinson – Writer
Dr. Martin Levinson is a Professor of Education at Bath Spa University. In addition to his academic writing, he is currently completing the final book in the Babushka trilogy for young adults (under the pseudonym Levi M). Martin co-wrote two of our productions: Beyond Expectations and The Ghosts of Mr. Dickens.
Avril Silk – Writer
Avril Silk is a Somerset-based writer and artist. She has worked as a teacher, working with a variety of minority groups and special needs, and has spent twenty-five years as a Take Art board member. She now writes and makes stained glass windows. Avril co-wrote Beyond Expectations and The Ghosts of Mr. Dickens. We worked with her closely to produce initial tours of these plays.
A Lincolnshire-based company, comprising Will Hobby (actor/director) and Grace Noble (designer/maker). Will has experience in rural, educational and community touring. This includes a year-long contract for White Horse Theatre, touring English-Language plays to schools in Western Europe, China and beyond! Grace has worked as a designer, maker and Costume Supervisor across a wide variety of theatre, film and television productions. In the theatre, these have included designing costumes for open air Shakespeare company, SISATA. In film and television, Grace has been employed as both a Maker and Dresser. This has included work on Father Brown, Coronation Street and for the British Film Institute. We partnered with Yellowbelly Theatre for our production of The Tempest. Both Will and Grace took on roles as co-producers; Will also directed the show, while Grace designed the set and costume.
Beatriz Pereira takes beautiful photographs – including some of our performances. Check out her atmospheric work.
Michael Scott-Abbott is a film-maker from Merseyside. He is currently Junior Film Production Executive for A&P Know How. Michael filmed and edited some great documentary footage (and a trailer) for our production Friend Request. You can view his freelance work on Vimeo.
Emma Glithero is a sculptor, painter and model-maker. She hand-carved two awesome puppets for us, and you can see more of her work on Facebook.
We’d be lost without our actors, and have been lucky enough to work with some fantastic ones! Our performers are multi-talented – operating technical equipment, contributing to the devising/rehearsal process and even facilitating workshops. Here are a few that we’ve worked with:
