We are thrilled to have been awarded funding from Arts Council England to help us tour The Ghosts of Mr. Dickens around the UK! This is the world premier tour of a brand new piece of writing, and we’re thrilled that the Arts Council have offered their support.

The play will tell the story of Charles Dickens’ second journey to America. During his voyage, figures from his life appear alongside characters from his stories. As reality blurs into fiction, much like Ebenezer Scrooge, the author is compelled to revisit the sins of his past.

This funding will mean we can reach as wide an audience as possible, ensure we are producing quality work, and allow us to tour the play again in the future. We’d like to extend our thanks to Arts Council England for their continued support of both established and emerging artists in the UK.

In addition, we are also proud to have been awarded a grant from the Jim Laker Fund for the same production. Their kind donation has allowed us to commission the creation of two wonderful puppets! We know that these will enhance the show – and we hope audiences love them as much as we do!
